Senior High School's Era

Watching Kafka Bintang Timora’s SHS-era VTs made me wonder what I was doing during my own high school years. Kafka managed to join so many extracurricular activities, while I only joined Rohis and the Biology club. Looking back, I barely remember any memories from those years beyond sitting in class and studying.

If my future children ever read this, I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did. There’s nothing quite like the high school years, as they’re the most memorable parts of your adolescence. Join clubs. Meet new people. Challenge yourself. Study hard and aim high for opportunities like the OSN. Don’t forget to cherish the friendships you build, because high school friends may turn out to be the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Build memories you’ll be proud to look back on, not just grades you’ll eventually forget.
